Insource Ltd finalists in HSJ Partnership awards 2019

Insource are delighted to announce that their Patient Pathway Plus (PP+) installation (a platform that provides UK Trusts with seamless management of and reporting on elective care pathways) at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust has been shortlisted for the prestigious HSJ Partnership Award in the Healthcare Analytics Provider of the Year category.

Patient Pathway Plus complements a hospital trust’s PAS or EPR system and extends its functionality by centralising and standardising pathway management activity and combining operational functionality with embedded BI. Revolutionising selective care management, PP+ has already afforded Salford Royal “highly commended” in the 2018 Northern Care Alliance Project of the Year Awards and is being rolled out across the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group to underpin their Standard Operating Model. Further installations include Hull and East Yorkshire, Liverpool Women’s, South Warwickshire and Royal Papworth NHS FTs.

The final round of the selection process pits Insource against the likes of Deloitte and PA Consulting Group. Insource’s CEO, Steve Aitken, is very used to this big company competition. “Patient Pathway Plus has demonstrated, time and time again, its power to redefine the way in which elective care pathways are managed. The elimination of so much manual intervention and replacing it with software automation provides unparalleled efficiency gains. Furthermore, the removal of data glitches results in significant improvement in patient care and patient safety. Working with Salford Royal has been instrumental in the evolution of the PP+ product. The benefits of this collaboration are now being extended across the wider Northern Care Alliance and are available to every other trust that installs it. Clearly, Salford Royal’s reputation as a leader in healthcare technology is well established. From small beginnings, we are working towards the wider goal of helping the NHS as a whole by demonstrating how other trusts can benefit in the same way.”

Winners of the HSJ Partnership Awards will be announced at a ceremony and dinner in London 20th of March.
