Responsibilities
. Opening and closing bank accounts using our software
. Order / Post / activate bank accounts and bank cards to service users
. Prepare payments and process onto the banking system
. Process invoices and ensure timely payments to suppliers
. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, mainly by emails and phone calls
. Assist with banking and card related queries
. Provide support to internal departments
. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to financial activities.
. Liaise and maintain a good working relationship with external partners
Candidate Requirements
- Communication: Having excellent written and oral skills. Making and receiving calls are required for the role, you need to be confident in telephone conversations with professionals and the public alike.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately: Giving great attention to detail and displaying the initiative to quickly identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Planning and organising effectively: Ability to multitask is required. The role is fast paced and requires the ability to manage daily tasks efficiently, being able to prioritise workloads.
- Computer literacy: with focus on data processing and payment processing. Good IT skills including MS Excel.
- (DESIRABLE) Experience in banking / administration role will be an advantage, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
